Feet are the most mythological part of human being. Associated with the chthonic beginning since the days of our ancestors’ pagans feet are considered to be a part most grounded deep to the mother earth. I am enamored by it structure and surface roughness. As a tool with a various aim, feet are reflecting the history of lived experience. Once in childhood I was touched by a story of alpinist who had lost a leg subsequently to a frostbite. Later, the man was kept visiting the Museum which exhibited the leg. My work is a mixture of respect and retrospective of the particular accident, viewpoint on a human body part as a museum showpiece.
