“Superstition/ post-soviet” operates in the spaces of identification with various past imprints, that interweaves superstitious versus post-soviet characteristics in the identity reconstruction of a modern Ukrainian. Through dialogues with people I reenact situation, where soviet objects were collected from one household as well as remnants of superstitions being still in use creating a portrait of a current coexistence of obsolescent nostalgia, automatic habits, and ritualisation.
